Vladimir Putin Awarded Two Canadian University Professors
OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2008. Andrei Donskov, professor at the University of Ottawa, and Donna Orwin, professor at the University of Toronto, received the decoration for their great contribution to the rapprochement and mutual enrichment of different people’s cultures and the study and popularisation of Russian language and culture.
The Pushkin Medal was instituted in 1999 to honour the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
