Russia and Belgium can expand cooperation in the gas sphere, including work in the market of the third countries, and also to construct a large gasholder in the Europe, the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt.

“We can implement rather large and useful project for both, our countries and also for the Europe - construction of large enough, even for the Europe, gasholders with possible transportation of gas to the third countries of the Europe, including the Great Britain”, V. Putin said.

Interfax goes, according to the president of the Russian Federation, this transportation can be carried out with use of those “underwater transport systems, which are in the Europe and which begin in Belgium”.
