HMS Group Will Produce Condensate Pumps for Berezovsk Power Plant
OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2012. Hydromashservice, a subsidiary of HMS Group, signed a contract with Energoproekt for production and delivery of a bulk of condensate pumps for Berezovsk regional power station (RPS).
According to the contract, the Group will deliver six condensate pumps of KsV 1000 type and three condensate pumps of KsV 1500 type to the customer. The pumping units are delivered as a part of the project of the station 3d energy unit construction in which Energoproekt is the prime contractor.
Berezovsk power station is a part of former OGK-4 (now E.ON Russia) – one of the largest generation company in Russia. The main shareholder of OGK4 is E.ON international group of companies which owns power stations with total capacity of 68 GW in 30 countries all over the world. Berezovsk RPS is one of the largest coal stations in Siberia. It was put into operation in 1987 and at present the installed capacity of two energy units is 1600 MW. After the launch of the third energy unit the total capacity of the station will be 2400 MW.
Previously HMS Group has delivered to OGK4 pumping equipment for Surgut power station.
