OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2012. Administration of Lyubimsky district of the Yaroslavl region is grateful to IDGC of Centre for the significant contribution to the sporting life of Lyubimsky district: power engineers of the Company implemented the outdoor lighting of the ski run in the village of Otradny.

Seasonal nature of the ski-run use assumed the shortest turnaround time. It took power engineers of Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre only a few weeks to light this socially significant facility, and in February Lyubimsky skiers were able to practice their favorite sport on the piste with modern artificial lighting.

"Yaroslavl power engineers qualitatively and in a short time performed the ski-run outdoor lighting in the ecologically clean area of the city of Lyubima of the Yaroslavl region. Now the residents have an opportunity to do skiing in the evening as well", — said the letter of thanks addressed to General Director of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Gudzhoyan.

Experts of Yarenergo installed 31 poles along the ski run, 800 meters of self-supporting insulated wire, installed 16 energy-efficient lighting fixtures with sodium lamps. In comparison with the mercury ones they provide a greater level of illumination at lower energy consumption. The street lighting metering and control box, installed by the power engineers at Lyubimsky ski-run allows to set various modes of lighting equipment operation to adjust the level of illumination of the facility at any given time of day.
